Through continued research and development, ME-92 Operations developed the ME-92® Non Reflective Coating. This new coating innovation offers the same long-lasting protection as the original ME-92®, while reducing the reflectivity of bright stainless steel surfaces.
Most recently, ME-92 Operations began offering a new coating for aluminum that enables medical device engineers to reduce the weight and expense of stainless steel, while maintaining its high level of performance. ALCOAT® is a pure chromium coating that imparts a very hard and durable 80Rc surface to aluminum.
ME-92 Operations is an ISO 9001:2015 company that has also completed Process Validations in accordance with the Global Harmonization Task Force GHTF/SG3/N99-10:2004 and 21 CFR Part 820.

As with all our finishes, it is bonded directly to the base material, is highly ductile and will not separate from the base material when twisted, flexed or impacted. Designed to enhance the overall performance of surgical devices; galling and fretting elimination, improved wear resistance, increased surface hardness, arrests corrosion from sterilization and laser marking, non-stick easy to clean surface, biocompatible and looks new after hundreds of uses. Unlike other coatings, removal and reapplication of our ME-92® Satin coating will not affect the base material or surface finish.

Laser marking and repeated sterilization protocols will not degrade the color.
